Did I tell you that I work at a gastroenterologists office now? The upshot of this is that I hear an awful lot about poop! Starts early and goes all day. Hours and hours and hours of poop! So today I'm getting ready to leave and one of my coworkers was a little upset so I was saying a private little prayer for her and I thought" Thank you Father for this job I love, and watch over these very special women I work with, and thank you for all these hours of poop" And then I thought about it and was mortified! But on further reflection... THANK YOU, LORD!

Yep that's me!!!! lololol 1st day was awesome! I learned so much i didn't know already. I'm so lucky in the other nurses I work with and the job was interesting. Who could ask for anything more!

Today has been an awesome day!!! Worship is always the highlight of my week, I love the fellowship and love in my church! And Sundays are always about family and that too, is a great part of the day!

Day 12

We are so excited around here! For such a wee family this is going to be one AMAZING year! Jannie is getting married to a really wonderful guy. She got here yesterday and its been all wedding talk! LOLOLOL lots and lots of wedding talk, dresses, flowers, tuxes,food, venues, colors... and we just got started!! Sorry Ron<g>.

and if that's not enough1 We are getting a new Baby too!!!! and...

it's a boy! I am so beyond excited!!! Another sweet boy to love! So many things to plan and do!

Tristyn is excited too and his mommy can't wait!(me either). So get ready for the showers!!

And we have this coming up in June...

yep! Grandpa Ron is gonna be 50!

So you can see  my blessings are many!And I am gonna be one party planning fool!

Day 10

It's been that kind of day!!! We worked alot today,at a job neither of us likes and we tried hard not to be grumblers or naysayers, but the enemy tasked us hard! Some days it's hard to face my tasks with a happy heart. But I'm home now, with a very happy heart! And the good news!!!! God's plan for me is unfolding a little more!!! If all goes as planned I start my longed for, prayed for, worked hard for job at the Doctors office!!! My God is a mighty GOD!!!!!

Day 9

I'm always so happy when I get to go see my church family. I love Wednesday night services for many reasons, smaller, more intimate, more in depth study, awesome music, good friends, a never ending presence of the Spirit of God... Sometimes our blessings are more subtle, more hidden than others. Sometimes we lose them inside our own misery, sometimes the are overtly hidden, sometimes we just can't recognize them... That's why it's so important to be anchored in the Body. So that they can help us find, interpret,recognize, celebrate, testify and exemplify all of those blessings.

1) That my God loves me enough to bless me with such an amazing church family!

2)That God has seen fit to give us, as a church, such a strong leader

3)That God's presence is growing in me every single day!

4) That God has blessed me with my first ever love

5) And that God has so blessed my and Ron's children and grandchildren

Day 8

I was just sitting here wishing for a bit of this! I know, I know,but dang we need a big chill so everyone will let go of this crud! We started our new jobs today. And we are so grateful to have them. It went well for a first day.  There are alot of really croupy people there tho! But it was good to be productive,and it was awesome to walk on my breaks!!! I'd forgotten how nice day shift can be. Best of all was finding out that we work with 2 old friends!

1)That my God is so mindful of my needs!! And so generous in His grace!

2) That I have good, productive, non-nursing work!

3) That I have these incredible dogs<g> and that they LOVE me

Day 6

My blessings!!! They are many!Today we started the day in church with Ron's family, as his sister Donna and her husband mike performed their music. It was awesome and moving an I'm so grateful they invited us! Then it was chore time and then library(yay!!!!!) time and now my favorite time with my 2 favorite guys!

1)A new family,that is strong in faith and strong in love!

2) A library to while away many hours in

3) A home of my own!!!

Day 5

It's been this kind of day. LOL  lazy, lots of reading and bad TV and stitching! Kinda perfect.

Day 4

today my blessings are so big, I don't know where to start!!! The day started so good! My goodness the weather here is awesome and beautiful. The dogs are in hog heaven. My interview went really well and my hopes are so high! And then... Ron and I both had job offers! It's probably not my forever job, but it's a job!!! God is so good to us!

1) My God is an awesome God!! And he will never let me down! How blessed am I!!!?

2)I have family and friends who love us and support us no matter what!

3)The beauty in the world is real and apparent! Open your eyes!!!

Day 3

Today was all mixed and beautiful!!! It started with another round of job searching and man, can that make you lose focus! Who thought it would ever be this tedious and depressing job hunting at 50! It is though! I think they'll have to use a crowbar to dislodge me from my next job! But then I asked for prayers on Facebook! WOW!!!! Ron and I were humbled beyond belief to see the response from that one post! And the really great news, I have a really good possibility for the morning! 8:30 keep your fingers crossed and the prayers coming!!!! Please!!!

And then it was a wonderful dinner with Ron's parents. And the bonus of a new Mexican restaurant to love!And onward to the Eagles where I caught up on some reading and catching up with friends.

A great day after all!

Day 2

Wow! all I can say is wow!!!! Today was so full of blessings it's going to be hard to choose a few! I will tho!
1) A day that was so warm and beautiful that my "boys" got to play outside all day!!1
2) A good start at finding jobs! But y'all can pray lots too!!! <g>
3) A boyfriend who loves me enough to spend his afternoon and evening rewiring and fixing my parents dryer!
4) Brothers with a sense of humor
5) And a Savior who loves me, despite me!

That's all because I don't want you to think I'm bragging! I hope your day was beautiful and blessing filled too!

Day 1

Some people think that blessings are great, huge, big, gushy gestures, but i know blessings are the tiny little secret good things that peek out at us from everywhere. I didn't always get that, but 50 is a great leveller! (and a great blessing too!).  At church on this Sunday past, we were reminded that we had 366 days this year(leap year) to be attendant to our Savior. 366 days to live our lives as God asks us to, or at least make an honest effort, and I'm gonna do that! but I'm also gonna try really hard to find all the blessings God surrounds me with! And I want to challenge you to do the same. Keep them to yourself, share  them with friends or put them here in the comments. I think this will be life changing for me and I'm hoping for at least one other.
